As important as breakfast may be, I rarely get that creative before 10 AM. This is one reason, then, why I’ve become enamored of roasted fruits with yogurt.
I originally tried roasting fruits after bookmarking this Roasted Grapes with Walnut Oil recipe from TheKitchn. It’s a fine dessert recipe. Luckily, your groggy, early-morning self can forget the walnut oil, cinnamon, and brown sugar, and the simple act of putting fruits in the oven will still do you proud.
Throw whatever combination of fruit you want in there, roast it for however long you want, then mix it with yogurt, honey, and maybe even nuts. You’ll be rewarded with fiber, calcium, protein, and the prettiest of palettes:
