Old San Juan: Calle del Cristo

Calle del Cristo in Old San Juan

Calle del Cristo in Old San Juan.

This may not sound like a big deal to those in warmer climes, but last month I made it to Puerto Rico and immersed myself in complete sunlight. In the mornings, before it got too hot, I’d spend an hour walking around Old San Juan taking photos, and this is the street where I always started.

Viejo San Juan is my favorite city in the world. Old world beauty and a great night life.

Pictures of the city are so lovely. A thriving cat population, too!

@newenglandfather – Well said! I was only able to make it to a few bars, the highlight being The Mezzanine at St. Germain. If you haven’t gotten a chance to check it out, I’d definitely recommend it.

@Emmy, Thank you. 🙂 A parade of leisurely-Old San Juan-street-cat pics is very much in Pretty Great Things’ future.
